Handmade katakuchi matcha bowl with spout, thrown by Bay Area ceramicist Heidi Yang of Chun Ceramics.
A crackled white glaze breaks softly over a mottled gray-green body — quiet, wabi-sabi character; no two pieces fire alike. The wide spout pours cleanly, ideal for whisking matcha and decanting into cups.
A tiny iron spot in the interior glaze (shown close-up) is natural to the firing, not damage. Signed on the foot with a blue brush mark.
Approximately 4.75" L x 4.5" W x 3" H. Weighs 11.1 oz. One of a kind.
