Handmade ceramic matcha bowl with spout (katakuchi) with a dramatic carbon-trap Shino: creamy white glaze, smoky charcoal-black areas, and warm rust-orange patches framed by irregular crawling. The glossy black against the orange gives it a striking, almost landscape-like surface. High-fired stoneware, one of a kind.
Dimensions:
- Length (with spout): 6.375"
- Width: 5.875"
- Height: 3"
- Weight: 15 oz
- Capacity: approx. 19 oz
Stamped with my maker's mark on the bottom. Great as a matcha bowl, pouring bowl, or serving piece.
